 The next issue of Jane Austen’s Regency World magazine goes to press this week, and next week the cover image will be revealed exclusively on this site.

The September/October 2012 issue is a must-read for Janeites around the world, especially in the US, as it contains a preview of this year’s Jane Austen Society of North America AGM.

And on the subject of Janeite gatherings, we speak to some of the regular visitors to the Jane Austen Festival in Bath to find out what draws them back to the city – and the festival – year after year.

Also included is an interview with Colin Blumenau, director of a new stage production of Mansfield Park, which  will be touring the UK this autumn.

May/June edition of JARW published

The May/June edition of Jane Austen’s Regency World has now been published and is being mailed to subscribers around the world. On the cover of the new issue is the actress Marie Féret, who plays Nannerl Mozart in the stunning new film Mozart’s Sister directed by her father, the French director René Féret.
